Background / Experience:
Role Overview
As a Senior Salesforce Consultant, you’ll play a leading role in designing and delivering innovative Salesforce solutions. You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end implementation process, from discovery to delivery, working directly with our international clients and cross-functional teams across the group.
You’ll be hands-on in configuring systems, running workshops, supporting data migrations, and mentoring junior consultants. For some projects, you’ll work solo; for others, you’ll collaborate with a Technical Director or other specialists across the group.
What You’ll Do
- Lead discovery workshops and translate client requirements into Salesforce solutions
- Own and implement Salesforce configurations and automation (flows, permissions, data loads, etc.), as well as customisation (Apex, LWC, etc.)
- Design integrations with 3rd party tools and systems
- Collaborate with clients to define user stories, process maps, and testing plans
- Support or lead data migration activities
- Conduct training sessions and support user adoption
- Work across project phases including testing, deployment, and hypercare
- Contribute to the development of the Salesforce practice in Portugal
Skills Overview
- Extensive solution delivery experience, including solution design
- Functional knowledge of Salesforce data structure
- Familiarity with full project life cycle from requirements through to deployment
- Ability to run requirements elicitation sessions with the client and to produce Writing User stories and corresponding acceptance criteria to document the requirements
- Ability to run Business Process Mapping sessions with the client and to produce Business Process Maps as an output (As-is and To-be)
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical reality that is extendable and maintainable
- Writing and executing test scripts
- Ability to communicate well with customers of varying technical abilities
- Ability to project management and work within delivery methodologies a must
- Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritise and escalate issues as required
- Ability to effectively prioritise and escalate issues as required
- Ability to monitor budget burn against remaining effort
- Ability to accurately scope, plan and estimate the level of effort for tasks
- Team development and mentorship
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader and third-party integration tools such as Jitterbit
Technical Skills
- A minimum of 2+ years of working with Salesforce.com in a business environment with Proven experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud Experience Non-Profit Cloud, Pardot, with Marketing Cloud being an advantage. Additional years of Industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated technical and development experience with configuration, advanced administration, flows, permissions and profiles
- Understanding of query languages such as SQL and SOQL.
Industry/business profile/functional skills
- Previous consulting experience implementing Salesforce solutions
- Proven experience with Sales Cloud, Communities Cloud
- Experience with Non-Profit Cloud, Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot (Account Engagement)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree, ideally in computer science, computer engineering but other disciplines considered
- Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Consultant certification as a minimum, Advanced Administrator preferred
- 1+ years of professional test/QA experience preferred
