Senior SAP ABAP + CAP Developer (AI & Cloud-Native)

We are looking for a Senior/Lead-level Developer to bridge complex SAP backend ecosystems with modern cloud-native architectures and cutting-edge GenAI integrations.

What You’ll Do

• Cloud & Modernization: Architect cloud-native successor applications on SAP BTP using CAP (Node.js) and integrate them with on-premise ABAP ERP/CRM systems (S/4HANA, LSO).
• AI Integration: Build and consume AI-assisted features and agentic workflow patterns using SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub, and agentic coding tools.
• API & Data Engineering: Design high-performance OData APIs, optimize SAP HANA/ABAP queries, and maintain robust end-to-end services.
• Technical Leadership: Lead architecture alignment, champion TDD/best practices, and mentor developers across cross-functional teams.

Must-Have Skills

• ABAP Core: Deep expertise in ABAP OO (7.54+), ABAP Gateway / OData, performance tracing, and query optimization.
• AI & Agentic Workflows: Experience calling AI APIs, prompt engineering, agentic concepts, and using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, MCP).
• DevOps & Engineering: Strong OOP background, Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, and operational observability tooling.

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on SAP CAP (Node.js), BTP Cloud Foundry, and SAP HANA Cloud performance diagnostics.
• Experience with SAP AI Core, Joule Studio, LangGraph, Vector Databases (RAG), or UI5/Fiori.
• TDD practices (Jest, Vitest, ABAP Unit Framework).
