We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP EWM Implementation Consultant to support the design, implementation and optimisation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions within a complex industrial and manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will take ownership of key functional workstreams, translating business requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions aligned with global template standards and warehouse operational requirements. Working closely with warehouse operations, supply chain teams, IT stakeholders and implementation partners, you will drive solution design, system configuration, testing and deployment activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.

This role requires strong hands-on SAP EWM expertise, experience delivering end-to-end implementations and the ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP EWM implementation activities across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Facilitate fit-gap workshops with warehouse managers, logistics teams and business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and define effective SAP EWM solutions.
  • Design and configure SAP EWM functionality in line with SAP best practices, business requirements and global template standards.
  • Analyse existing warehouse processes and develop future-state solutions covering inbound and outbound logistics, putaway, picking, replenishment, internal stock movements and inventory management.
  • Support the integration of SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA and relevant SAP modules, including MM, SD, PP and QM.
  • Work with technical teams and external partners to support integration with warehouse automation technologies and material flow systems, where applicable.
  • Develop functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documentation and test scenarios.
  • Lead or support functional testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning and go-live activities.
  • Identify process gaps, resolve functional issues and drive continuous improvement across warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, solution architects, developers and business teams to manage deliverables, dependencies, risks and implementation timelines.
  • Provide end-user training, support user adoption and ensure effective knowledge transfer to operational support teams.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to consistent implementation standards across the project.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience implementing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, ideally within complex manufacturing, industrial or multinational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP EWM configuration and warehouse management processes.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM and SAP ECC environments.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound processing, storage strategies, putaway, picking, replenishment, stock movements and inventory management.
  • Experience conducting fit-gap analysis, requirements workshops, solution design and functional documentation.
  • Knowledge of integration between SAP EWM and SAP MM, SD, PP and QM.
  • Experience with testing, defect resolution, cutover, deployment and post-go-live stabilisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of functional deliverables and operate effectively within a hybrid project environment.
