Senior SAP FICO Consultant | Switzerland | Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join a long-term SAP project in Switzerland.

About the role

You will work as an external SAP FICO expert, supporting Finance and Controlling processes and working closely with business stakeholders and internal SAP/IT teams.

The role involves SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA, including transformation and migration activities within the FICO domain.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and document business requirements across SAP FI and CO
• Translate business requirements into effective SAP FICO solutions
• Work closely with Finance/Controlling stakeholders and IT teams
• Support SAP implementation and transformation initiatives
• Contribute to SAP R/3 → SAP S/4HANA migration/transformation projects
• Ensure solutions follow SAP standards and best practices
• Apply knowledge of Swiss accounting and financial reporting
• Support solution design with a focus on maintainability and standard SAP functionality

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant
• Strong expertise in SAP FI and CO
• Experience with SAP ERP (R/3) and SAP S/4HANA
• Strong understanding of Finance and Controlling business processes
• Experience with requirements analysis and solution design
• Knowledge of Swiss accounting / Swiss Code of Obligations
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP R/3 → S/4HANA transformation/migration
• Previous experience as an external or freelance SAP consultant
• Experience working alongside an internal SAP team

Contract details

Contract: 6–12 months, with potential extension

Start: 15 October – 1 November 2026

Location: Switzerland

Working model: Hybrid, 60/40
