Essential Requirements
This candidate MUST have the following:
- Extensive hands on configuration knowledge within SAP FI
- Experience in minimum 1 SAP FI sub-module (AR, AP, GL)
- Basic Experience with SAP SD Processes (Functional or Integration)
- Project implementation experience (ECC6.0 and/or S/4 HANA)
- English Language (B2 Min)
- International Experience
Desirable Requirements
The candidate DOES NOT need knowledge in, but would be advantageous if they had experience in:
- German, Spanish or Portuguese
- SAP CO Knowledge
- Integration experience with SAP Logistics Modules (SAP MM, SAP WM/EWM,)
- SAP ABAP

My client, a global end customer based in Dusseldorf, Germany are looking to recruit a Senior Consultant from the SAP Finance space to come in and join a growing international team and assist in the ongoing projects both nationally and internationally.
The topic for this company by the start of 2027 would be their global implementation of S/4 HANA and forthcoming rollout to 45+ countries across EMEA, NATAM and APAC Regions. The company are looking to get in place their team by growing an additional resource within the DACH Region as well as an additional resource in USA and Portugal before starting their project. Dependant on experience, your role will start of as a Functional Consultant but as you become settled and accustomed to the project, you will be developed to lead/manage the S/4 HANA rollouts as well as smaller projects migration/upgrade within the Group
Some of the responsibilities will include:
- You will work and collaborate with senior stakeholders within the SAP Business Unit area across multiple locations worldwide
- Active support and participation in the S4/HANA migration project
- You will be tasked with translating and documenting requirements taken from the business into processes for SAP Finance
- You will be doing the configuration and customisation of the SAP Finance system
- You will learn how to build SAP FI/CO Solutions that have been provided but be expected to assess, question and challenge stakeholders
- Active participation in national and international SAP projects
- Support for SAP rollouts in other production and sales companies within the group
- (Sub) Project support/management of module-internal and cross-module implementation and change projects, both internally and with external service providers.
- Functional tasks as well as be a mentor to the team
- You will participate in support level activities including 2nd and 3rd level
