This hybrid position can be based in one of our Arkansas or Oklahoma offices, or remotely in Texas. POSITION SUMMARY The Senior SAP Function Analyst will serve as the primary IT support resource for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), warehouse management, and Human Capital Management (HCM) functional areas within Summit's SAP landscape. The role provides functional analysis, solution design, configuration, production support, and implementation support to enable efficient business processes and reliable solutions. This position partners closely with the internal SAP team, external vendors, system integrators, managed services teams, and business leaders on solution design, integrations, continuous improvement, and production support. Success requires strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide production support, system enhancements, and project implementation support for Summit's SAP environment. Configure, implement, and support SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance functionality, including maintenance plans, quality management, work orders, notifications, work order planning, and procurement integration. Configure, implement, and support warehouse management functionality, including barcoding, radio frequency and mobile capabilities, and inventory management integration. Support and enhance HCM processes and integrations, including the HR mini-master, timesheets, and payroll interfaces. Partners with Operations and Warehouse teams on support and improvements, including technology council meetings, ride-alongs, regional All Hands meetings, and on-site plant deployments. Work with system integrators and manage services teams to design, test, and implement robust solutions. Monitor SAP and artificial intelligence advancements and recommend system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Seven or more years of experience with SAP Plant Maintenance/EAM, warehouse and inventory management, and integrations with other applications. Five or more years of experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA design, implementation, and operations. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori applications, and mobile solutions for EAM and warehouse management. SAP HCM and CATS experience is preferred. Experience with data migrations and conversions is a plus. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Strong functional expertise in SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance, warehouse and inventory management, and related modules. Utility-sector experience is preferred. Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted-advisor relationships between IT and the business. Strong presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to take informed risks, learn from setbacks, and maintain a clear remediation plan.
