Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP Security Consultant with strong, hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP security and authorization models across complex SAP landscapes. This role requires deep expertise in role design, user administration, and security controls for modern SAP environments, including S/4HANA and Fiori.

The ideal candidate has supported enterprise-scale SAP systems, worked closely with functional and technical teams, and understands security from both a technical and business-process perspective.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Security & Authorization

• Design, build, and maintain SAP roles and authorization concepts for ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Perform end-to-end role lifecycle management: design, build, testing, transport, and production support.
• Support user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management.
• Troubleshoot authorization issues using SU53, STAUTHTRACE, SUIM, and related tools.

Fiori & S/4HANA Security

• Configure and support SAP Fiori security, including catalogs, groups, spaces, and roles.
• Manage OData service authorizations and Fiori launchpad access.
• Support S/4HANA embedded analytics and apps security.

Compliance & Controls

• Support Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and remediation.
• Assist with audit support, access reviews, and security documentation.
• Work with internal teams to align SAP security controls with corporate compliance requirements.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Partner with functional consultants, developers, and Basis teams to ensure secure application design.
• Provide security input during new implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for SAP security best practices.

Production Support

• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP security incidents and access issues.
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP Security experience across ECC and S/4HANA.
• Strong expertise in role design, authorization objects, and user administration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori security.
• Deep understanding of SoD concepts and audit requirements.
• Experience supporting multi-system SAP landscapes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SAP BTP security (roles, XSUAA, IAS/IPS).
• SAP Security certifications.
• Experience supporting global or multi-country SAP rollouts.

Language Requirements

• English: Professional working proficiency (mandatory)
