Senior SAP Technical Architect (SAP Basis / RISE)

Travel Requirements: 2 days per week on site in the Paris area, 3 days remote

Context:

Greenfield SAP RISE implementation. The consultant acts as the Basis lead on the ongoing technical topics. Later the role moves into the client's internal SAP operations team, covering all landscapes and the relationship with the managed service provider.

Responsibilities:

• Validate Basis procedures
• Maintain architecture documentation (HLD/LLD) and define implementation scenarios
• Spool configuration, SSO, access management and transport chains
• RISE consumption monitoring and cost optimization
• SAP interfaces, PE server, certificate management and performance tools
• Production incident resolution
• Drive technical projects: archiving, storage, LDAP, SSO, SAP Logon, Analysis for Office
• Technology watch

Required profile:

• Strong SAP Basis background with architecture responsibility, not administration only
• Hands on experience of SAP RISE, including consumption monitoring and cost optimization
• Cloud architecture, upgrades, Support Packages and system refresh
• SSO, access management, certificate management and transport chains
• Experience producing and maintaining HLD and LLD documentation
• Experience working alongside a managed service provider
• Autonomy and the ability to lead technical projects without close supervision
