Senior SDET - Taxslip

Job Description: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using recognized tools (Playwright, REST Assured, Cypress, Bruno, Cucumber, Appium, Maestro). Integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and maintain pipelines. Participate in defining and evolving the testing strategy: coverage, prioritization, test data, mocking/stubbing. Document, organize, and execute test cases in Jira/Xray, including traceability, execution, and reporting. Handle a portion of exploratory manual testing for non-automated scenarios. Participate in code reviews, impact analysis, and validation in collaboration with developers. Participate in capacity and performance testing (CPR). Analyze and diagnose defects (via logs, Datadog/Splunk as needed). Collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, analysts, and quality integrators. Contribute to Agile/Scrum activities: planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Promote best practices in automated testing, continuous improvement, and DevOps principles (rapid feedback). Use and contribute to the evolution of AI agents dedicated to QA activities. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, a diploma in quality assurance, or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a quality analyst role. Strong knowledge of test automation processes using recognized tools (Playwright, REST Assured, Cypress, Bruno, Cucumber, Appium, Maestro). Knowledge and experience with DevOps tools (Git, GitHub, Docker, Datadog, etc.). Understanding of tax slip regulation – An asset. Ability to structure and document work rigorously and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking.
