Senior Security Consultant

Sydney, Perth or Brisbane preferred - potentially open to Melbourne and Adelaide(hybrid)

$180k–$220k + super + Bonus - Open to negotiate for the right candidate

Design it. Build it. Own it.

A leading Australian security consultancy is growing, as they're not stopping winning work. Why? simple, they're good in what they do and clients recognise it.

They need a senior consultant who can take client engagements from requirements to production, and have a strong pipeline of IGA work on the books (Saviynt in particular).

You won't sell or manage contracts. PMs and account managers handle that. You'll focus on designing and delivering identity solutions that work.

What you'll do

• Lead the design and delivery of identity governance solutions: lifecycle, JML, access requests, certifications and roles
• Run requirements sessions with clients and turn them into architecture, then build it
• Integrate apps and directories across the wider identity stack (Entra ID, Okta, AD, PAM, HR systems)
• Write clear design docs, as-builts and options papers
• Mentor a small group of mid-level engineers

What you'll bring

• Deep, hands-on Saviynt experience, having led IGA implementations end to end rather than just contributing. Strong SailPoint (IIQ/ISC) candidates will also be considered.
• Real IAM domain expertise: workflows, lifecycle states, custom rules, access reviews, RBAC/role mining and segregation of duties
• Sharp attention to detail. You understand the client’s stack and how everything connects.
• Excellent written communication, because a big part of this role is turning complex ideas into clear documents
• Confidence with clients, and the ability to explain technical topics in plain terms, on the fly and on a whiteboard
• Self-direction and accountability. You own the design and its outcome.

Bonus:

• PAM (CyberArk/Delinea), SQL/scripting, data analysis, Workday/SAP/ServiceNow integrations, vendor certifications
