Senior Security Technical Governance Program Manager

Job description

Location: Remote within the United States; hybrid options in Kansas City, New York, San Francisco, and Sunnyvale.

Salary: $176,400–$206,168 in Zone 1, $162,069–$184,322 in Zone 2, and $147,692–$172,615 in Zone 3, depending on geographic market, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What you will do

• hirify.global enterprise technology governance, risk, compliance, and security control initiatives across Information Security, Technology, Engineering, and Data.
• Drive data management and governance programs covering data security, classification, retention, quality, and regulatory controls.
• hirify.global disaster recovery governance, readiness assessments, tabletop exercises, recovery testing, and resiliency improvements.
• Manage security compliance and third-party risk programs, including assessments, due diligence, monitoring, audits, issues, and remediation.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including evidence collection, control walkthroughs, findings, and remediation through closure.
• Modernize governance through automated evidence gathering, continuous control monitoring, AI governance, and scalable compliance workflows.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Technology Risk, GRC, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
• Experience hirify.globaling complex, cross-functional governance, risk, compliance, or security programs in high-growth technology, fintech, startup, or similarly fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, cloud platforms, infrastructure security, engineering controls, enterprise risk management, and compliance practices.
• Experience working with internal and external auditors and managing remediation from identification through closure.
• Strong program management, stakeholder management, communication, organizational, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with AI tools, AI governance, AI risk management, and emerging technology controls.
