Senior Security Tester (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Security Tester to join the team in a hybrid work environment. You will play a crucial role in defining and executing manual tests for software changes within an Agile, DevSecOps delivery framework. Collaborating closely with product owners and the QA team, you will help ensure the quality and security of our applications. Your tasks

• Working with product owners to manage backlogs and define new requests, including clear and testable acceptance criteria
• Driving and managing testing phases of projects to ensure quality delivery
• Participating in the creation of test strategies and the implementation of test plans for specific application components
• Maintaining and defining manual test artifacts, metrics, and environments to support testing efforts
• Providing test scenarios for automation and performance tests to enhance testing coverage
• Obtaining cross-team consensus to drive progress towards project goals
• Designing and conducting various types of tests, including regression, performance, and functional tests
• Identifying exceptions in application logs and performing initial triage for managing bugs and tests
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing within an Agile environment
• Excellent knowledge of software testing theory and practices in Agile methodology
• Proficiency in designing and conducting manual tests for web applications and REST APIs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Familiarity with Agile delivery artifacts like epics, stories, and tasks
• Competency in using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git for project management and collaboration
• Advanced level of English
  
  

Nice to have

• Previous work with API development and familiarity with REST and HTTP protocols
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and application security scanning tools (SAST, MAST, DAST)
• ISTQB certification
• Experience with performance testing and using tools like QTest, Tricentis, or Zephyr
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance processes
