The Role

Legend is hiring a Senior SEO Specialist, reporting directly to our Head of SEO.

This isn’t a traditional SEO role focused on optimising pages one by one. You’ll take ownership of SEO performance across key markets and complex initiatives, but you’ll also have the opportunity to zoom out, work with large datasets and help shape how we approach SEO at scale.

We’re investing in a more data-led, strategic and AI-enabled way of working, and you’ll play a key role in driving that forward. You’ll identify opportunities to use AI and automation, challenge existing processes and develop scalable solutions that can deliver meaningful impact across the wider SEO team.

You’ll have existing roadmaps, best practices and early AI experimentation to build from, but the autonomy to shape longer-term priorities and challenge how things are done. Whether you’re analysing the impact of changes across thousands of URLs, identifying strategic opportunities across markets or developing automated QA workflows, you’ll be expected to connect the dots, influence decisions and drive improvements across our portfolio.

We’re looking for an experienced SEO who combines strong analytical thinking with strategic judgement, thrives on solving complex problems and is excited by what AI and automation could unlock. You don’t need to be an AI expert. What matters is that you’re already exploring its potential, can identify where it will add real value and have the confidence to turn ideas into scalable improvements.

Your Impact:

  • Own and drive SEO performance across key markets or complex initiatives, shaping longer-term roadmaps, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring priorities align with wider business objectives.
  • Turn complex datasets and competitor insights into strategic action, identifying patterns, anticipating challenges and influencing SEO priorities across markets and teams.
  • Drive the adoption of AI and automation within SEO workflows, identifying high-impact opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and quality.
  • Design, test and implement scalable automation workflows that improve how the wider SEO team operates, including opportunities to transform areas such as SEO QA.
  • Lead analysis of wider changes across our portfolio, translating findings into clear strategic recommendations and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements.
  • Help shape the future of SEO at Legend, challenging existing processes, driving continuous improvement and sharing your expertise to help others adopt smarter, more scalable ways of working.

    • What You'll Bring:

  • Deep SEO expertise, particularly across on-page optimisation, with strong technical SEO knowledge and experience developing strategies that deliver measurable improvements across large, complex websites.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience working with complex datasets, identifying trends and translating insights into strategic recommendations that influence longer-term priorities.
  • A proactive approach to AI and automation, with experience identifying opportunities, experimenting with solutions and improving workflows to deliver greater efficiency and scalability.
  • A proven ability to independently own complex SEO initiatives, prioritise opportunities based on impact and effort, and deliver measurable outcomes while navigating cross-functional dependencies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex analysis, challenge assumptions and influence decisions across teams through evidence-backed recommendations.
  • The strategic thinking, autonomy and adaptability to solve ambiguous problems, anticipate challenges and drive improvements beyond your immediate area of responsibility.

    • The Interview Process:

    1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (45 mins via Zoom)

    2nd: Interview with our team, Head of SEO and Senior SEO Manager (1 hour video via Zoom)

    3rd: Take home task - you will be given 3 days to complete the task and present it back to the team, Head of SEO and Chief Gaming Officer (1hour 30min video via Zoom)
