Senior Service Assurance Engineer

At GTT, our Service Assurance Team manages and maintains GTT's international network, delivering exceptional support to customers worldwide. As a Service Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting network issues, managing incidents through resolution, and ensuring a stable, resilient, and high-performing network environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide break/fix support across GTT's global network.
• Own and drive incidents through to successful resolution.
• Perform technical validation, troubleshooting, and escalation management.
• Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve service issues.
• Configure network devices and support service migrations.
• Proactively identify recurring issues and drive preventative actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and customer communications.
• Ensure operational procedures and best practices are followed.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• 2+ years of experience in a Telco, Service Provider, or similar environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
• Experience with SD-WAN, Security, and SASE technologies.
• Good understanding of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and EIGRP.
• Experience with Layer 2 technologies, including VLANs, STP, and LACP.
• Knowledge of MPLS, L2VPN, and L3VPN services.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Cisco IOS and hardware experience.
• Juniper JUNOS experience.
• Certifications such as CCNA, JNCNA, Fortinet FCA, or Palo Alto PCNSA/PCCSA.
• Experience in a NOC or Service Operations environment.
