Job Description This is a remote position. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Service Manager to lead a well-established Mental Health Crisis Support Service, providing vital community-based support for people experiencing mental health crises across Oxfordshire. About the Role This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the operational delivery, quality and future development of a community-based mental health crisis support service. You will work closely with the Head of Wellbeing Services and an experienced Team Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred support while preparing the service for a successful contract re-tender. Your responsibilities will include: Providing strategic and operational leadership across the service. Leading service improvement and change programmes. Supporting and developing managers and staff to achieve excellent performance. Managing budgets, quality standards, safeguarding and contractual compliance. Building strong relationships with commissioners, NHS partners and external stakeholders. Using service data and feedback to drive continuous improvement. Supporting the development of a competitive tender for future service delivery. About You We're looking for an experienced leader who can inspire teams and deliver outstanding services within a complex health or social care environment. You will have: Significant experience managing services and multidisciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of mental health services, crisis support and safeguarding. Experience managing contracts, budgets and service performance. A track record of delivering service improvements and leading organisational change. Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. The ability to motivate, coach and develop managers and teams. A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong organisational skills. Experience of working with commissioners, NHS partners, local authorities or within the voluntary sector would be highly advantageous.
