About the role

As a Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will make an impact by leading the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions that drive digital transformation across global organizations. You will be a valued member of our Enterprise Service Management team, collaborating with business leaders, enterprise architects, clients, and delivery teams to modernize platforms, improve operational efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions on the ServiceNow ecosystem. In this role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end architecture, strategy, and delivery for large-scale ServiceNow transformation programs.
• Define scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and governance practices.
• Architect and guide implementations across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, FSM, HRSD, SPM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Drive integration strategies between ServiceNow, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and third-party systems.
• Partner with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and technology teams to align platform capabilities with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural oversight throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Support solution development, estimation, pre-sales activities, and client workshops while promoting innovation and platform modernization.

What you need to have to be considered

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 20+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background in enterprise technology consulting and architecture.
• 10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow architecture and implementation experience.
• Proven success leading multiple enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations and transformation initiatives.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, governance, integrations, security, and best practices.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, consulting, and leadership skills.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional teams across architecture, development, and delivery disciplines.

These will help you stand out

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Multiple ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
• ITIL v4 Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional certification.
• TOGAF, PMP, SAFe, or other enterprise architecture credentials.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, enterprise integration frameworks, AI-enabled automation, and digital transformation programs.

Technical expertise

• ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, FSM, HRSD, and SPM
• CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management
• IntegrationHub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
