Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually Job description Leads a technical team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and manages all aspects of application development and the SharePoint Online environment, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security. Serves as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and develops strategies for the best use of SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver complete business solutions. Lead and manage the technical team through the full software development lifecycle, including defining system architecture, overseeing code quality, and coordinating project tasks and timelines. Report project status and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, web parts, and applications, integrated with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the SharePoint environment. Monitor and secure the SharePoint portal to meet organizational and compliance requirements. Work with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that improve business processes. Provide technical leadership on SharePoint best practices, architecture, and governance. Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 8–10 years of relevant experience in SharePoint development, administration, and architecture. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven experience managing technical teams, coordinating project tasks, reporting status, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Deep expertise in SharePoint Online architecture and its integration with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate. Professional experience with HTML, JavaScript, C#, and SQL. Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Active Directory, and Microsoft Office, Visio, and OneNote. General familiarity with Section 508 compliance. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders; proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Preferred qualifications Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (SharePoint) or equivalent certification. Graphic design experience with Photoshop and InDesign.
