Senior Shopify Developer

Job Description This is a remote position. Job Description We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to build, customize, and maintain Shopify-based eCommerce websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing Shopify themes, implementing integrations, optimizing store performance, and ensuring a smooth user experience across the platform. Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores and themes. Implement new features and functionality using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript . Customize Shopify themes and templates to meet business and design requirements. Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and external systems with Shopify. Configure and manage Shopify store settings including products, collections, checkout, and payment gateways. Optimize store performance, page speed, and overall user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify themes, apps, and integrations. Ensure website responsiveness and compatibility across different devices and browsers. Work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to implement improvements. Maintain best practices for security, scalability, and Shopify platform standards. Requirements Required Skills Strong experience with Shopify platform development . Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON . Experience with Shopify theme customization and development . Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations . Understanding of eCommerce workflows and Shopify store management . Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) . Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Nice to Have Experience with Shopify Plus . Knowledge of performance optimization and SEO best practices for Shopify. Experience with Shopify app development . Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and marketing platform integrations .
