Are you an experienced B2B social media professional with a passion for strategy, digital storytelling, brand building, and measurable business impact? Perfect! As we are looking for a Senior Global Social Media Manager (m/f) to lead and evolve our global social media strategy across multiple markets, business units, and audiences.

In this role, you will combine strategic leadership with operational excellence. You will drive global social media governance, channel growth, employee advocacy, social selling initiatives, AI-powered content innovation, and performance-driven campaigns that contribute to brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and pipeline growth.

This role is ideal for a senior social media professional with strong B2B SaaS, technology, digital marketing, or construction technology experience who enjoys influencing stakeholders, scaling best practices globally, and turning social media into a measurable business driver.

Key Responsibilities

Global Social Media Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and continuously enhance a global social media strategy aligned with RIB's brand, business objectives, and marketing priorities
  • Act as the primary advisor for global social media best practices across regions and business functions
  • Establish and govern global social media guidelines, content standards, and brand voice across all markets.
  • Review and approve strategic campaigns and key content initiatives to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment

Social Media Content, Campaign & Community Management, Advocacy

  • Develop and execute integrated social media content plans across corporate channels
  • Create and manage day-to-day engaging content across social platforms, including copy, visuals, videos, campaigns, and community engagement.
  • Partner with regional marketing, demand generation, product marketing, and creative teams to deliver targeted, high impact B2B SaaS campaigns
  • Manage daily social media activity, respond to audience queries, and foster meaningful engagement.
  • Drive employee advocacy and social selling programs while enabling colleagues – and especially our executive management & leadership team - to leverage social media effectively

Performance Analytics, Market Intelligence & AI-Driven Innovation

  • Monitor performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sprout, Oktopost, etc.) and provide monthly KPI driven reports and insights.
  • Measure and communicate impact related to engagement, audience growth, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and brand awareness
  • Conduct competitor analysis and share recommendations, benchmarks, and market insights.
  • Continuously improving social media effectiveness through experimentation and optimization
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to scale content creation, optimize performance, improve efficiency, and train internal teams on AI enabled social media practices
  • Stay current with developments in AI-powered digital marketing and social media technology

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior social media role with proven experience managing global or multi-market social media programs
  • Strong B2B technology, software or SaaS social media management experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to understand customer needs and business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success growing and engaging professional online communities across social media platforms
  • Experience building and scaling employee advocacy, social selling, or ambassador programs in partnership with sales and leadership teams
  • Experience creating and managing executive thought leadership programs and personal branding initiatives for senior leaders
  • Experience supporting account-based marketing programs through targeted social media campaigns and audience segmentation
  • Strong problem solving, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Experience analyzing data, reporting on performance, and turning insights into action.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present business and creative concepts.
  • Experience managing paid social media campaigns and Account Based Marketing initiatives.
  • Good understanding of SEO and content distribution strategies, demand generation, and digital marketing best practices
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Sprout, Oktopost, or similar platforms.
  • English proficiency at C1 level.

Advantageous

  • Experience or background in the construction industry
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, especially Salesforce
  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, Danish, Spanish)
