About the Role As an Senior SDET in our engineering team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we build quality into everything, right from the first line of code. You will develop and implement high-coverage, maintainable automation frameworks and partner closely with developers, DevOps, and quality engineering pods to deliver AI-augmented, continuous quality across projects ranging from fintech platforms to rapid MVP builds and legacy system modernization. Responsibilities Implement testing strategies based on project archetype (Startup, Enterprise, Fintech, or Legacy). Develop and maintain test automation frameworks (unit, API, UI, and performance). Build scalable, containerized test environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and service virtualization. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Participate in model-based test design (MindMaps, Test Model Generators, Gherkin). Champion shift-left practices (e.g., mutation testing, Git pre-commit hooks). Contribute to observability-based testing using logs, metrics, and traces. Drive test intelligence reporting via Grafana, Allure, ReportPortal dashboards. Apply AI-based tools for flaky test detection, auto-healing, and intelligent test prioritization. Collaborate on internal quality initiatives to innovate, improve and scale reusable test assets across teams. Must-Have Skills Strong coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python for test automation Hands-on experience with automation tools such as: UI: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress API: Postman, REST Assured Performance: Gatling, K6, JMeter Deep understanding of BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin) and exploratory testing practices Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or hybrid environments Solid command of CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with test design for Web, Mobile, APIs and Microservices Nice-to-Have / Emerging Skills Knowledge of contract testing (Pact or similar) Exposure to observability tools (Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog) Knowledge of AI-based testing tools (test generation, flaky test detection) Experience testing ETL pipelines, LLM apps, or data compliance Understanding of regulatory testing (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS) Soft Skills & Cultural Fit T-shaped mindset: expertise in one domain, curiosity across many Strong problem-solving and failure analysis instincts Collaborative communicator across cross-functional agile teams Passion for test innovation, automation, and quality-first thinking Why Join Us?
