We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend, C#) to join the team responsible for the Public Transport Ticketing domain. The team owns and develops our end-to-end core MaaS ticketing offering, enabling other Trafi teams to deliver new ticketing integrations while also creating complex new ticketing functionality directly for clients. You will be involved during the full project life cycle—from designing and expanding core services to building, deploying, monitoring , and supporting the product. This is a Hybrid role based in our Vilnius office, offering the flexibility to work from home or the office according to your preference. In this position, you will report to the Team Lead, Software Engineer. Responsibilities: Write high-quality C# code on the latest .NET stack Lead the delivery of technical initiatives, designing the solution together with other engineers Design distributed (micro)service architecture that processes data in real time Use Infrastructure as Code to manage cloud infrastructure (terraform.io) Work extensively with Amazon Web Services infrastructure (we use 30+ AWS services) Run .NET services in a cloud container cluster (AWS ECS); Instrument and monitor code Check out our tech stack here: https://stackshare.io/trafi/trafi Qualifications and Experience: 3+ years of experience with C# and Web API development Ability to define, document, and communicate technical implementation plans across engineering teams Willingness and ability to work comfortably in a dynamic environment with evolving objectives and to iterate with users Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working with clients to solve their problems Fluency in Lithuanian and English Salary : The salary range for this position is 6000 – 6833 EUR gross per month (72,000-82,000 EUR gross per year).
