As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll lead the design, implementation, and verification of software components across a wide range of applications, from driver control and algorithm development to UI and human-machine interfaces. You’ll explore innovative solution approaches, ensure code quality and maintainability, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. By sharing your expertise and mentoring junior engineers, you’ll help drive technical excellence and elevate our software standards. Your responsibilities Design, implement, and verify new subsystems, modules, and components Write efficient and maintainable code (C++, C, Python) for various features such as driver control software, human-machine interfaces, algorithm implementation, and/or UI application development Explore different solution approaches to achieve the best results Share your expertise to elevate the team, quality, and processes Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international, multidisciplinary, and agile environment Review code and mentor (junior) engineers What do we offer you? A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field At least 5 years of experience in software development with C++, C, and Python in the high-tech domain Experience with O.O., UML, Unit testing, Agile and design principles You are a team player, solution-oriented, and proactive Motivation to continuously improve yourself and develop new skills A good command of English, and preferably Dutch Our organization Since 1996 we have been developing (embedded) systems that are essential for products manufactured by renowned high-tech companies around the world.
