Senior Software Engineer About the job The Senior Software Engineer will play an active role across various phases of Novacura projects, contributing technical expertise to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs. The role involves working closely with customers and Novacura Business System Consultants to understand requirements, evaluate technical options, and define effective and scalable solutions. Senior Software Engineers have a strong focus on Novacura Flow and IFS development , including custom configurations, modifications, and integrations. They also work with related technologies such as .NET, IoT, ML, and other modern technologies that support Novacura Flow and IFS Applications. A solid understanding of IFS Applications and its technical architecture is expected, with the ability to develop deeper expertise in relevant functional or technical areas. The Senior Software Engineer is expected to work independently, take ownership of technical deliverables, and contribute throughout the solution lifecycle from customer requirements and solution design through development, testing, quality assurance, and deployment. The role also includes providing technical guidance and support to junior colleagues and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team. About you We’re looking for people who are highly service-minded and thrive from a work environment with a high pace. You have a proactive approach and are always eager to learn new things. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 4+ years of hands-on experience working with IFS Experience with IFS Cloud modifications and customizations Previously worked in a Technical consultant/ Senior Software Engineer capacity or have worked in consulting projects Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/, PL-SQL) and data structures. Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, Python). Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and integration frameworks. Understanding of ERP systems (preferably IFS Applications) Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and in teams, with good communication skills.
