Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our HR Core team in Sydney! The Senior Software Engineer is a skilled technical contributor who can solve complex system challenges while supporting a high-performing, AI-enabled engineering culture.

What you’ll be doing:

• Write code, run code reviews, design APIs, and integrate modern systems across React, PHP, Symphony and AWS.
• Drive quality & delivery: Set high standards for our codebase, handle safe deployments, and jump in to solve complex tech issues when needed.
• Embrace AI-assisted dev: Lead how we safely use AI dev tools (like Claude Code/Codex) to speed up our builds without sacrificing quality.

What you bring:

• Strong background in JavaScript / TypeScript (React frontend and/or PHP backend).
• Solid architecture, API design, and web app security knowledge.
• Great communication skills and a passion for mentoring people.
• Good judgment when using AI dev tools to accelerate building.
• Bonus points: GraphQL experience.
