Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will work across the full software development lifecycle and play a key part in delivering technology solutions that address complex business needs.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality applications, improve existing systems, and support mission-critical services. This position requires strong technical expertise, sound engineering judgment, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.
- Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud-based services, and modern web applications.
- Develop backend services using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
- Build and support frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript, and/or Angular.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to determine feasibility and recommend effective technical solutions.
- Implement secure coding practices and support compliance with security and data protection standards.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and operational excellence.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, flowcharts, API documentation, and code documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices related to code quality, architecture, testing, and software design.
- Support high-availability, mission-critical systems operating in a 24x7 environment.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, designers, and other engineering teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge-sharing, onboarding, and hiring initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, cloud platforms, modern frameworks, and AI innovations.
About You:
You are an experienced software engineer with strong hands-on expertise in building and supporting enterprise-grade applications.
- You have a strong foundation in software engineering principles and care deeply about building clean, secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions. You are analytical, customer-focused, and confident solving complex technical problems in production environments.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including web application development.
- Strong experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, React.js, JavaScript, microservices, Azure Cloud Services, RESTful APIs, and AI technologies.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, and software design patterns.
- Experience building backend applications and services using C#.
- Experience developing frontend applications with React.js and/or Angular.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting complex production applications.
- Familiarity with Git, source-control best practices, automated testing, unit testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting high-availability or mission-critical systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or AI-enabled applications.
- Azure-native services and cloud-native application development.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application development.
- DevOps, infrastructure automation, monitoring, observability, and incident response practices.
- Event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and messaging technologies.
- Application performance tuning, scalability improvements, and reliability engineering.
- Mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
- A strong ownership mindset and the ability to take initiatives from concept through production support.
