Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a cross-functional engineering team at a Series A/B construction technology SaaS company. You will shape production-ready software across the full stack, building tools that help construction businesses manage their people, projects, and operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of complex technical products from discovery through production.

• Build and maintain modular infrastructure across frontend interfaces, backend APIs, and services.

• Develop data models, APIs, and integrations with financial and identity verification services.

• Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to understand user needs and inform technical and product decisions.

• Ship and maintain production software, applying strong practices for testing, performance, and security.

• Provide technical feedback and mentorship to help raise engineering standards across the team.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience delivering production systems, including experience in a high-growth startup or large technology organization.

• Strong fundamentals and a balanced full-stack skill set, with the ability to own features end to end and work independently.

• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, React, and React Native.

• Experience with data modeling, API development, modular infrastructure, and deployment platforms such as Render.

• Familiarity with payment and financial services integrations, including Stripe Issuing or Treasury, and Check.

• A product-minded approach, sound technical judgment, and an interest in understanding business context and user needs.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $190,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
