Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a cross-functional engineering team at a construction technology SaaS company to build scalable, production-ready software across the full stack. You will lead complex product work from design through delivery, helping improve how construction businesses manage their operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of complex technical products from planning through production.

• Build and maintain modular frontend interfaces, backend APIs, data models, and services.

• Develop integrations with payment and financial services, including Stripe Issuing and Treasury, and Check.

• Work with product, design, and business partners to understand user needs and inform product decisions.

• Deliver and maintain software using Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, and Render.

• Promote strong practices in testing, performance, and security, and provide thoughtful technical feedback to peers.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience building production systems, including experience in an official senior-level role.

• A strong track record leading complex products and delivering full-stack features independently.

• Proficiency with MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and React Native.

• Experience with data modeling, API development, modular infrastructure, and integrations such as Stripe, Check, and Render.

• Strong computer science fundamentals, sound engineering judgment, and a product- and user-oriented mindset.

• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $190,000 to $250,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California.
