As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in AWS. Success in this position calls for self-direction and a proactive mindset. You will be empowered to take full ownership of your work and drive initiatives forward autonomously, embodying a "let me handle this" mindset over waiting for step-by-step direction.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend applications and microservices that are scalable, secure and performant.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
• Take end-to-end ownership of backend services throughout their entire lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and production monitoring.
• Actively contribute to infrastructure enhancements and team process improvements to foster continuous delivery and engineering excellence.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, technical debt, and production issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, product owners and architects to deliver end-to-end backend features.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering focusing on AWS cloud development.
• Adept at modern backend technologies (such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js) along with their frameworks. Skilled in constructing APIs, microservice architectures, and event-driven systems.
• Proven expertise with relational and NoSQL databases, caching solutions, Docker containerization, and AWS cloud architecture.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
