Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer based in İzmir to join a long-term software development program within the defence industry.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-critical systems, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of advanced software solutions in a collaborative engineering environment.

Technical Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET development
• Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Experience with Git and source control best practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps concepts
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Ability to perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Experience with ORM frameworks and database interaction concepts
• Defence industry experience and familiarity with IEEE 12207 are considered advantages

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications
• Analyze requirements and contribute to technical solution design
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities
• Troubleshoot issues and support deployment and release activities
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
