About the Role
Join a product engineering team building AI capabilities for data and marketing workflows. You will explore new product ideas, make architecture decisions, and turn promising prototypes into production systems that help users get more from their data.
What You'll Do
Rapidly prototype and evaluate AI product concepts for data and marketing workflows.
Collaborate with a small team to develop and ship new product ideas from early exploration through production.
Choose suitable AI architectures, frameworks, and models, and assess where LLMs are effective.
Build production data agents that use company data to answer analytics and data science questions.
Understand user workflows and create seamless AI-assisted product experiences.
What We're Looking For
At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend and product engineering experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, including building production backend services, APIs, and scalable data pipelines.
Experience building complex AI applications using LLMs, machine learning, or data-driven product features, beyond basic chatbots or retrieval applications.
Experience connecting to data sources such as SQL databases, data warehouses, or APIs, and building data-driven products or agents.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, Docker, CI/CD, testing, and production engineering practices.
Strong computer science fundamentals, with a background in computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field.
Product-minded experience building from inception through iteration, ideally in a high-velocity startup environment.
Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance when working with customer data.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $200,000 to $320,000 annually. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without company-sponsored visa support.
Location
Remote within the United States. Candidates should be located in or willing to relocate or commute to the San Francisco Bay Area for occasional in-office collaboration.
