Senior Software Engineer, AI Agents

About the Role

Join a product engineering team at a Series D marketing technology company, building AI-powered tools for data and marketing workflows. You will help turn early ideas into production experiences, shaping how customers use their data to answer questions and take action.

What You'll Do

• Prototype AI applications quickly to explore new opportunities in data and marketing workflows.

• Work with a small team to develop and ship product ideas, laying the groundwork for new product capabilities.

• Make decisions about AI architectures, frameworks, and where different language models are effective.

• Build production data agents that use company data to answer analytics and data science questions.

• Learn customer workflows and create seamless AI-assisted product experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Five to twelve years of software engineering experience, ideally building core products in AI or machine learning contexts.

• Strong backend engineering skills and experience with TypeScript or a similar stack.

• Experience building complex AI applications and applying machine learning in product or engineering work, beyond basic retrieval-augmented generation or research-only projects.

• Strong computer science or mathematics fundamentals, with relevant exposure to AI.

• Product intuition, clear communication, structured problem-solving, and the ability to prototype quickly and design production systems.

• Experience on high-velocity product teams at startups or growth-stage companies is valuable; early engineering or founder experience is also relevant.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $200,000 to $320,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
