Team and Responsibilities Apache Pinot is a distributed analytics data store that is rapidly becoming the go-to solution for building real-time analytical applications at scale. Pinot stands out in this crowded space due to its ability to deliver low-latency performance for high-throughput analytical queries. For instance, Pinot powers mission-critical use cases, such as LinkedIn’s “Who Viewed My Profile” and Uber’s “Restaurant Manager,” which require the ability to execute high-throughput (thousands of requests/second) analytical queries within milliseconds. Be a part of our team building an end-end solution around Apache Pinot. You'll get to work on cutting edge distributed systems (messaging, OLAP, stream processing) and be part of the innovation for 1 click analytics. Job Description Design, develop, and test distributed software applications. Design and implement fault tolerant systems to ensure service availability and guarantees in the presence of catastrophic failures. Evaluate and analyze requirements from other engineering teams for various applications. Coordinate with other teams to resolve urgent software issues in deployed services. Leverage various monitoring and alerting services to solve intricate programming problems at scale.
