Senior Software Engineer, Design

About the Role

Join a fintech team building user experiences for complex mortgage workflows. This role combines frontend engineering and design craft, with ownership from early Figma concepts through production implementation. Your work will help make the product intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent.

What You'll Do

• Own design and implementation from wireframes in Figma through React and TypeScript delivery.

• Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library with shadcn/ui.

• Create accessible, production-quality components with appropriate ARIA, keyboard, and focus management.

• Partner with product and engineering to turn complex mortgage workflows into clear user experiences.

• Define and uphold visual and interaction standards across the product.

What We're Looking For

• Typically 5 to 10 or more years of relevant experience in software engineering and interface design.

• Experience with React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, GraphQL, Apollo Client, Turborepo, and Figma.

• Strong attention to UI details and a commitment to accessible, polished user experiences.

• Background in fintech or mortgage, AI-native architectures, or a high-growth or specialized fintech, lending, or similarly relevant company.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
