About HAVORA
HAVORA is redefining and re-engineering the future of modern dating and relationships.
We're building a premium relationship technology platform that helps people build intentional, meaningful, and lasting relationships through trust, compatibility, psychology, and thoughtful technology.
We're not building another dating app. We're building a category-defining consumer technology company with global ambitions, starting from Nigeria.
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong technical leadership experience to help architect, build, and lead the engineering team as we develop our MVP.
The Role
As our Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for establishing engineering excellence at HAVORA.
You'll work directly with the Founder, Technical Product Manager, Product Designers, QA Engineers, and Product Researchers to transform product requirements into a scalable, production-ready application.
Beyond writing code, you'll mentor junior engineers, define engineering standards, review pull requests, make architectural decisions, and ensure that everything we build reflects the premium quality HAVORA stands for.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, takes ownership, and is excited about building a world-class product from the ground up.

Work with Product Designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Establish engineering standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
Ensure application performance, security, maintainability, and scalability.
Plan and manage technical debt appropriately.
