Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

Location: Punggol
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH)
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Subjected to renewal/conversion)
Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable platform services using Go, Python, and TypeScript.
• Develop and enhance internal developer portals using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build self-service capabilities for application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and environment management.
• Design and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Develop secure, isolated development environments and automated workflows supporting AI-assisted development.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Prometheus and Elastic Cloud.
• Improve platform reliability, security, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance developer experience.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Strong programming proficiency in Go or Python, with hands-on experience developing production-grade applications, APIs, or automation tools.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, or Next.js for frontend and full-stack development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including API design, testing, modularity, and maintainability.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with cloud-native application development, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with observability tools, including Prometheus, Elastic Cloud, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Knowledge of cloud security, access controls, secrets management, and secure deployment practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and implementing automated testing workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
  
  

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, SLOs, disaster recovery, and incident management.
• Experience with AI coding assistants, automated code reviews, or agentic software development.
