As a Software Life Cycle Consultant EMEA, you will join a team of software specialists dedicated to helping customers modernize and optimize their software environments. Working closely with Account Managers, Software teams, and customers, you'll play a key role in defining software modernization strategies, developing software offerings, and supporting customers throughout their lifecycle journey.

The team collaborates closely across borders, combining deep technical expertise with a strong customer focus. Preferred location is Gothenburg, Sweden, although other Swisslog locations in EMEA will be considered.

In this role, you will:

• Develop software modernization and lifecycle offerings for existing customer installations.
• Assess customer software environments and identify opportunities for upgrades, migrations, and optimization.
• Create solution concepts and effort estimations that form the basis for customer proposals and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal software experts and product teams to improve and evolve our software portfolio.
• Contribute to product enhancements and modernization initiatives.
• Partner with Account Managers during the sales process, providing technical and business expertise when engaging with customers.
• Travel occasionally within EMEA to support customer assessments, workshops, and presentations, up to 20%.

What you need to succeed

We're looking for a collaborative and technically minded professional who enjoys working at the intersection of software, consulting, and customer engagement.

You will ideally bring:

• Experience in software engineering/consulting, software project management, software architecture, technical leadership, or a similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or intralogistics software solutions.
• Experience translating technical requirements into customer-focused solutions and commercial offerings.
• The ability to estimate project effort, scope, and software-related costs.
• Consulting and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage both technical and business audiences.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and countries.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers solve complex challenges.
• Fluent English communication skills. Swedish or other language skills are an advantage.
