Senior Software Technical Project Manager

Plans and executes avionics projects developed internally or with suppliers. Collaborates with cross-functional teams from engineering, operations, and quality to define project plans, track milestones, and manage risks. Responsibilities Lead project planning for mid-sized projects; oversee execution and resolve moderate issues Own risk assessments and deliverable tracking for assigned projects; resolve complex issues independently Facilitate design reviews and resolve technical challenges collaboratively Develop comprehensive project documentation; proactively adjust schedules as needed Lead risk identification efforts; execute complex mitigation plans Optimize project management tool usage for team efficiency; train others on advanced features Lead resource planning for medium projects; resolve allocation conflicts
