We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team and work across several key technology areas: Integrations (webMethods), API Management, Fenix (our internal system) and OTM.

This is a broad technical role combining solution architecture, technical leadership and hands-on problem solving. You will take technical ownership of Fenix and OTM, while helping drive the architecture and evolution of our Integration and API Management platforms.

You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Hosting, Network, Security and Cloud teams, as well as external technology suppliers.

You will be located in Ostrava, Czechia and report to Head of Data & Network Services.

Purpose of the role:

The Solution Architect is responsible for building and maintaining a robust, scalable, and strong technical foundation for the Data & Network Tower, covering Data, Hosting, Integrations, and Networking.

The role drives the technical implementation of IT projects, acts as a technical point of contact, and ensures alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

The Solution Architect also contributes to the Tower and Digital & Business Technology Solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Own and develop the technical architecture and roadmap for Fenix and OTM.
  • Drive solution architecture and technical improvements across Integrations and API Management.
  • Work with webMethods, API Management, Azure and related enterprise technologies.
  • Drive application and platform lifecycle, modernization and upgrade activities.
  • Work across application, infrastructure, network, security and cloud layers to design solutions and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis and turn operational findings into longer-term technical improvements.
  • Coordinate technical changes and work with internal teams and external technology suppliers.
  • Keep an eye on performance, stability, technical health and cost of the solutions in your scope.
  • Contribute to architecture standards, technical documentation and best practices.



What will you bring:

  • Experience in Solution Architecture, Integration Architecture or similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration, APIs and API Management.
  • Experience with webMethods or similar enterprise integration technologies.
  • Good understanding of Azure, Windows/Linux, networking and infrastructure concepts.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and understand technical problems across multiple technology layers.
  • Experience working with Engineering, Operations and infrastructure teams.
  • Experience with IT governance
  • Ability to turn architectural ideas into practical, workable solutions.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across technical teams and suppliers. (B2+)
  • Business driven mindset
  • Experience with AVD, authentication technologies, containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD, messaging or hybrid-cloud environments is a plus.
