What is the mission about? - Job Description NextLink is having an exciting position as Senior Solution Architect Communication & Content Technologies Architect in Brussels area, Belgium. General information: - Start date: ASAP - Duration: 12 months renewable - Workload: full time (2 days on site 3 days remote) What We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to help shape the future of enterprise communication and content management platforms. You'll play a strategic role in designing scalable, sustainable, and business-driven solutions that support customer communications, document management, workflow automation, and digital content services across the organization. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, project teams, and developers, you will define end-to-end solution architectures while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long-term technology strategy. Your Responsibilities Translate business requirements into scalable end-to-end solution architectures. Design functional and technical solution flows across complex enterprise systems. Assess impacts on existing platforms and define future-state architecture. Produce architecture documentation, UML diagrams, process models, and solution designs. Design and govern integration solutions using REST APIs, messaging, orchestration, and event-driven architectures. Collaborate with project managers, technical architects, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Contribute to enterprise architecture standards, governance, and technology roadmaps. Act as the bridge between business and IT, providing architectural leadership across cross-functional initiatives. Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience as a Solution Architect, Functional Architect, or Enterprise Architect within complex enterprise environments. Proven experience designing end-to-end enterprise solutions. Strong understanding of modern architecture principles, including: Domain-Driven Design (DDD) API-first architecture BPM and orchestration Event-driven architecture Microservices concepts Extensive experience with enterprise integration technologies: REST APIs Asynchronous messaging Integration platforms Experience modelling architectures using UML, ArchiMate, or Enterprise Architecture tools. Knowledge of cloud architecture, preferably Microsoft Azure. Experience working with large-scale legacy and modern enterprise applications. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to influence architectural decisions across business and technical teams. Fluent in English plus French or Dutch.
