Senior Solution Architect (Consultant / B2B Contractor)

This is an opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to support a diverse range of client projects and consulting engagements through a flexible B2B collaboration model. You will be our go-to person for defining high-level technical architectures across a wide variety of client engagements - from RPA and process automation, to custom software development, to AI/ML solutions, to security and infrastructure. The core of this role is RFP response and pre-sales support : you receive a brief or RFP, quickly understand the domain and constraints, and produce a credible, well-structured architecture proposal. You work fast, with limited context, and deliver clarity where there was ambiguity. What you'll be doing: Analyze RFPs, client briefs, and discovery outputs to produce high-level solution architectures under tight timelines. Design end-to-end architectures spanning cloud, AI, integrations, security, and automation. Lead or support technical discovery sessions, client workshops, and architecture reviews. Translate business requirements into system designs including integrations, data flows, APIs, security, and scalability. Create architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and technical sections for proposals. Provide architectural guidance during project delivery and support delivery teams in critical design decisions. Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and approaches relevant to each engagement. Review existing architectures and recommend modernization strategies. What you bring: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting. Broad technical range - able to architect solutions across different domains: enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, RPA, security, data platforms. Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and modern application architectures. Experience with pre-sales, proposal writing, or RFP response processes. Understanding of security, governance, scalability, and reliability best practices. Experience in consulting or agency environments with multiple parallel client engagements. Key Soft Skills for Success: Exceptional Communication Skills - able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Fast Learning Ability - can absorb a new domain or technology area quickly and produce meaningful output with minimal onboarding. Pragmatic Mindset - delivers "good enough" architectures on deadline rather than perfect architectures too late. Strong Presentation Skills - comfortable leading workshops, presenting to clients, and defending architectural decisions. Team-oriented Approach - works well with delivery teams, PMs, and stakeholders across time zones. Nice To Have: Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM-based solutions, AI agents, RAG architectures, orAI platform design. Experience with RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, or similar). Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible). Kubernetes and container orchestration. Microsoft, AWS, TOGAF, or other relevant architecture certifications. Experience with solution estimation and effort/cost modeling for proposals. Collaboration Model B2B contract engagement. Project-based and on-demand consulting opportunities.
