About the Opportunity

Join a global enterprise infrastructure technology business supporting some of the world’s most demanding HPC, AI/ML, Enterprise Linux and hybrid cloud environments.

This is a senior, customer-facing technical role supporting enterprise customers across Japan throughout technical discovery, solution design, proof of concept, deployment and adoption.

Key Requirements

You will be an experienced Solutions Architect, Technical Pre-Sales Engineer or Systems Engineer with:

• 7+ years’ relevant experience
• Expert-level Linux knowledge
• Strong containerisation and systems integration experience
• Exposure to HPC, AI/ML, hybrid cloud or performance-intensive infrastructure
• Experience supporting complex enterprise technology sales
• Strong solution architecture and technical discovery skills
• Experience delivering demos, workshops and proof-of-concepts
• Strong enterprise customer and stakeholder engagement skills
• Good understanding of open-source infrastructure technologies
• Fluent Japanese and strong English
• Experience working with partners, SIs or resellers advantageous

Role & Responsibilities

• Leading customer technical discovery and solution architecture
• Supporting enterprise sales opportunities alongside the Account Executive
• Delivering technical demonstrations, presentations and workshops
• Leading proof-of-concept deployments
• Advising on integration, deployment and performance optimisation
• Supporting customer adoption and expansion
• Enabling local system integrators and reseller partners
• Acting as the technical link between customers, Sales and Engineering
