Senior Spine Animator

We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Spine Animator to join us and create stunning animations that deliver those unforgettable "wow" moments.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Spine Animator at Mazal Games, you will craft high-quality 2D animations using Spine for characters, UI, and in-game effects across our online casino titles. You will collaborate closely with the art team and developers to translate concepts into polished, performant animations that enhance gameplay and player engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D animations, rigs, and skeletons using Spine.
• Animate characters, UI elements, symbols, and visual effects for our games.
• Collaborate with artists and developers to bring creative concepts to life.
• Optimize animations for performance while maintaining exceptional visual quality.
• Integrate and validate animation assets within the game engine.
• Maintain consistency with the game's artistic direction, technical requirements, and animation standards.
• Continuously improve animation workflows, pipelines, and best practices.

Compensation

• Salary range: €1,500–€3,500 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience creating 2D game animations using Spine.
• Strong portfolio showcasing character, UI, and VFX animation for games.
• Excellent understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, weight, anticipation, and appeal.
• Experience creating game-ready visual effects and motion graphics.
• Proficiency with Spine and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator). Experience with Unity is a strong advantage.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate animation workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail, polish, and performance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, multidisciplinary team.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Have

• Experience in the mobile gaming industry.
• Experience working on casino or casual games.
• Basic illustration or graphic design skills.
• Familiarity with Unity animation workflows and particle systems.
