Senior Storage Consultant / Commvault Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Senior Storage Consultant / Commvault Specialist to join our Infrastructure Services Operations team. In this role, you will serve as the operational subject matter expert for enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and cyber resilience platforms, with a strong focus on Commvault technologies. You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and continuously improving enterprise storage and data protection environments. Your primary focus will be ensuring service availability, operational stability, compliance, and customer satisfaction while providing expert support for mission-critical infrastructure.

Responsabilities:

• Operate and support enterprise storage environments.
• Perform proactive monitoring and health checks to ensure platform availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents affecting storage infrastructure.
• Conduct root cause analysis and participate in problem management activities.
• Perform capacity management and provide recommendations for storage optimization.
• Execute firmware upgrades, patch management, and operational maintenance activities.
• Support storage-related change requests and ensure successful implementation within established processes.
• Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident resolution when required.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, operational standards, and governance requirements.
• Administer, monitor, and support Commvault backup and recovery environments. Ensure successful execution of backup, restore, replication, and retention processes.
• Perform backup troubleshooting and recovery operations for enterprise customers.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and day-to-day platform maintenance.
• Monitor backup success rates and proactively address failures and operational risks.
• Execute and document recovery testing and disaster recovery exercises.
• Support hybrid and cloud-based backup environments.
• Maintain backup policies, retention schedules, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in major incident handling and recovery activities.
• Provide operational support for cyber recovery and ransomware protection solutions.
• Support regular testing of recovery procedures and business continuity capabilities.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• More than 5 years of professional experience in backup administration and support, with strong expertise in Commvault.
• Proven experience in managing, monitoring, and resolving incidents related to backup and data recovery environments.
• Strong interest in ticket analysis, incident management, and proper escalation handling when required.
• Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis for technical issues.
• Experience with backup, restore, replication, and data retention processes.
• Knowledge of enterprise storage and data protection environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous service improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in multicultural environments.
• Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
