Senior Strategy Developer | London / UK / Europe (Remote Options Available) | Digital Assets & Quantitative Trading


Join a high-impact trading and engineering team building the next generation of digital asset trading infrastructure.


This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of software engineering, quantitative finance, trading, pricing, and risk management. You'll work directly with traders and quantitative specialists, helping design, build and optimise the systems responsible for pricing, hedging, execution, and automated strategy decision-making.


The team is currently rebuilding large parts of its trading ecosystem from the ground up, making this an exceptional opportunity to influence architecture, technology choices, and strategy implementation from day one.


Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and enhance automated trading strategies used in live markets
  • Develop pricing, hedging and risk management algorithms across digital assets
  • Work directly with traders to improve execution quality and trading performance
  • Design and optimise strategy frameworks using Golang and Python
  • Develop simulation and backtesting capabilities to validate strategy performance
  • Analyse trade outcomes, strategy behaviour and P&L drivers
  • Improve strategy deployment, monitoring and operational tooling
  • Contribute to the architecture of a modern trading platform being developed from the ground up
  • Partner closely with engineering, traders and quantitative researchers to translate ideas into production systems


Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working within a trading environment
  • Experience working directly with traders, quantitative researchers, or strategy teams
  • Strong background in strategy development, algorithmic trading, pricing, hedging or market-making systems
  • Proficiency in Golang or a high-performance language such as C++, Java or Rust
  • Strong Python experience for analytics, research, automation or strategy development
  • Understanding of market microstructure, order books, liquidity and trade execution
  • Experience building low-latency or high-performance trading systems
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed teams
