The Senior Structural Engineer/Product Evaluator will assume a significant portion of the technical and engineering support functions and establish a sustainable internal engineering resource that provides timely structural, thermal, and other technical support to the Aluminum Products Group (APG), Product Design, R&D and Testing, Technical Sales, and project teams across different branches.

What You Will Be Doing:
This position will also be Trulite’s Internal Product Evaluator, maintaining code-compliant product approvals and submittals to the State of Florida (FL#), Miami-Dade County (NOA) and Texas Department of Insurance (TDI).
Provide timely responses to KnowledgeBase inquiries and technical engineering requests. Develop a consistent and technically defensible process for evaluating these requests while maintaining appropriate engineering documentation and traceability.
The position will serve as a technical engineering resource for complex projects and customer requirements. This includes: 1) Reviewing project specifications and engineering requirements; 2) Evaluating product configurations for project-specific applications; 3) Providing technical responses to customer and consultant inquiries; 4) Reviewing shop drawings and project-specific conditions when required
Skills You Bring:
- To be a Product Evaluator, You Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida and Texas. Other State Licenses are a Plus.
- Experience in Fenestration Engineering.
- Know Relevant Building Code Applications.
- Experience in Fenestration Engineering is a must.
- Familiarity with AAMA, ASTM & TAS Testing Standard Protocols
- Familiarity of NFRC Thermal Standard and Knowledge of LBNL’s Window/Therm/Optics Program.
- Well-versed in Reading Architectural Plans and Specifications.
- Proficient in using Different Structural Software and Applications
