We are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Developer with 8-10+ years of expertise in C#, .NET, and backend SQL, along with strong database application support experience across SQL Server, Sybase, and PostgreSQL.
As a Senior Support Engineer specializing in SQL within FTSE Engineering, you will lead and oversee day-to-day production support activities for critical systems. You will act as a subject matter authority in diagnosing, solving, and resolving complex technical issues that go beyond first- and second-line support, ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems.
You will collaborate closely with technology teams and business users to understand complex user journeys, workflows, and data interactions involved in the Index business lifecycle — critical for effectively resolving high-level technical support issues. This role partners closely with the FTSE Engineering – 3rd Line Support Manager and works directly with internal and external Index business collaborators, including Full Stack Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technology teams.
You will directly manage, diagnose, and resolve technical issues within key Index Platforms built on innovative technologies and AWS cloud-native architecture. We're seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working engineer skilled in delivering long-term fixes for database applications across multiple database platforms, with solid experience in 3rd-line support, incident management, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.
