We are looking for a Senior System Architect to join our Systems Engineering team developing solutions for hybrid and fully electric powertrains.

This role is for a highly experienced technical expert who will be responsible for system architecture, concept development, and technical coordination of complex HV Inverter / Power Electronics systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and developing system architecture for HV inverters and electrified powertrain functions

• Creating system concepts and requirements while balancing quality, performance, cost, and schedule

• Leading technical discussions with the customer and acting as the primary point of contact in assigned domain areas

• Coordinating work across cross-functional teams, including Hardware, Software, Calibration, Functional Safety, and Test

• Developing system functions and driving solution integration at the total system level

• Analyzing complex technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and defining system-level solutions

• Executing Functional Safety activities, including Technical Safety Concept, SFMEA, and FTA in compliance with ISO 26262

• Making key technical decisions and providing support to project engineering teams

• Reporting technical status, identifying risks, and defining action plans

• Participating in customer meetings and vehicle-level testing

• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive systems development

• Strong background in HV Inverters, Power Electronics, or Electrified Powertrain Systems

• Solid expertise in System Architecture and Systems Engineering

• Excellent knowledge of high-voltage inverter functions, motor control strategies, and electric propulsion systems

• Experience in integrating complex automotive systems

• Hands-on experience in Functional Safety and ISO 26262

• Understanding of High Voltage Safety concepts and standards

• Experience in technical problem analysis and root cause analysis

• Proven track record of direct technical collaboration with automotive OEMs/customers

• Experience in leading and coordinating cross-functional technical teams

• Full professional proficiency in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with Polarion, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, or MATLAB/Simulink

• Knowledge of German
