Senior System Specialist
Mylab OyReady to shape the future of health tech in the Nordics?
At Mylab, we’re on a mission to transform diagnostics through innovative software solutions that make a real difference in healthcare. Our solutions empower professionals, improve patient outcomes, and set new standards in health technology. Every line of code, every feature, every decision matters, because ultimately, lives depend on it.
To make this vision a reality, we need curious minds and passionate hearts: people who want to lead, innovate, and grow. That’s where you come in.
Your impact as a Senior System Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Senior System Specialist to strengthen our System team and develop secure, reliable and increasingly automated infrastructure for our health technology solutions.
In this role, you will operate and improve Linux-based production, development and testing environments. You will troubleshoot application- and system-level issues, develop automation, and improve the performance, scalability, security and operability of our platforms.
Your work covers production environments on-premise or private cloud, partner-operated data centers, and Azure-based development and testing environments. Key technologies include Linux, Docker, Azure, Ansible, Kubernetes, Helm and Bicep, with a growing focus on automation, Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native environments.
You will also contribute to architectural discussions, evaluate new technologies, and support our journey towards modern DevOps and platform engineering practices. As part of incident investigations and root cause analysis, you will help ensure that issues are resolved thoroughly and do not recur.
You will join an experienced eight-person System team that supports both production and software development. You will have the independence to take ownership of your work while collaborating closely with system specialists, developers, and other stakeholders across the organization.
Success in this role means ensuring reliable daily operations while finding practical ways to modernize our environments, reduce manual work, and improve how we work together.
What You Bring To The Table
How You Work
You bring a positive and proactive mindset to your work. You are comfortable sharing your ideas, constructively challenging inefficient practices, and introducing new perspectives to an experienced team.
You enjoy learning and sharing your knowledge with others, but you are also comfortable asking for support when needed. You can balance operational responsibilities and unexpected interruptions with long-term development work, and you understand the importance of careful documentation in a regulated environment.
Why join us?
At Mylab, your efforts directly improve healthcare. We believe good work should support a good life – not compete with it. Our culture is built on flexibility, shared trust, and growth, so you can thrive both professionally and personally.
These values are supported by our supportive and encouraging community, but also comprehensive employee benefits, including 500€/year ePassi Flex balance, and an extensive occupational healthcare and insurance package.
While we usually work where it suits us best, including flexible remote work, it's always nice to drop by our Tampere office occasionally to meet colleagues, collaborate, and exchange updates.
We're not just offering a job – we're offering a chance to grow, lead, and make an impact in an internationally expanding health tech company.
The salary for this role typically ranges from approximately 4500-5200€ per month, depending on your experience and expertise. The final compensation package will be determined based on your background, skills and overall fit for the role.
