The Senior Tax Analyst is a vital member of the Tax Department, collaborating closely with the other members of the tax team, accounting teams, and other cross-functional personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Senior Tax Analyst will report to the Tax Director. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation and review of federal, state income and franchise tax returns and extensions. Assists with the preparation of the quarterly/annual provision under ASC 740. Calculate quarterly estimate and extension tax payments. Assists with researching complex tax topics. Drafting technical memos relating to tax positions and planning matters. Compiles data to support audits and requests for information from taxing authorities Assists with tax technology upgrades and implementations. Prepares quarterly fixed asset reconciliations. Assist with other projects as they arise. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s degree preferred 3 plus years of corporate income tax experience Proficiency in tax compliance software (OneSource preferred) Strong knowledge of corporate income tax and GAAP Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines Why work for Cornerstone Building Brands?
