Tax Analyst (Remote)

We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join a growing public accounting firm serving privately held businesses, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with 3–5 years of public accounting experience and a strong background in tax preparation, compliance, and planning. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal, state, and local business tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations Prepare complex individual income tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients Conduct tax research and assist with planning strategies Communicate directly with clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings Collaborate with partners on tax planning and advisory engagements Ensure timely, accurate compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Assist with consulting projects and other specialized tax engagements Maintain high-quality work while managing multiple client deadlines 3–5 years of public accounting experience with a primary focus on tax Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills CPA license or CPA candidate preferred, but not required Ability to work independently in a remote environment Must reside in the Eastern or Central time zone Candidates with more extensive experience may work fully remote; those with less experience should be willing to travel occasionally to the Allentown, PA office for training and collaboration Fully remote opportunity for qualified candidates 100% employer-paid employee health insurance SIMPLE retirement plan with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 3% Additional PTO earned through overtime beyond the first 60 hours annually, with employees commonly accumulating 4–6 weeks of paid time off Flexible, collaborative small-firm culture Exposure to sophisticated business and individual tax engagements Direct access to experienced partners and mentors Long-term career growth and advancement opportunities
